2012 LONDON MARATHON - CLUB PLACES
Have you been rejected for the 2012 London Marathon?
The club has been granted 2 guaranteed places for the London Marathon in 2012. We have a well tested process for allocating these places which in the first place considers those who have pesonally been rejected in the ballot. The club committee expects to review the list of members interested in running at the next committee meeting in mid November. In the first instance members who have been rejected in this year ballot will be considered and if you fall into this category you should let Roger Barraclogh know and show him a copy of the rejection slip/magazine. If these places are not taken then the committee will consider other candidates based on capability to complete the race, contributions to the club in racing/administration/support
If you did not enter but would like to be considered for a place please also give you details to Rogerwhich should be supported with a written submission settting out why you should receive a club place wich will be taken into account when allocating the places.
Don't delay in putting your name forward as a decision will be made sooner rather than later.
